Spiritual Parenting Groups and Community

Welcome to the rapidly expanding Spiritual Parenting Community!

Since “10 Principles for Spiritual Parenting” was published in 1998, groups of parents have been casually forming to discuss the principles and support each other in parenting in this way. As Mimi Doe leads workshops and gives talks on the 10 Principles even more interest is generated amongst participants to extend the momentum of her message and continue gathering with like-minded parents.

Subscribers to Doe’s online broadcast, Spiritual Parenting Thought for the Month, are also eager for real time gatherings to discuss ideas and support one another in trying out the techniques in their own families. There’s nothing like the wisdom, conversation, and support of other parents to sustain and guide us in the most important job we’ll ever have.

In an effort to respond to on-going requests for information and guidance in forming Spiritual Parenting Groups, we have launched this section of the website to help get you up and going with your own group. We have also joined forces with MomJunction to give you an online Spiritual Parenting Community with great connectivity options.

FINDING A SPIRITUAL PARENTING GROUP

To locate a Spiritual Parenting Group in your area, please send an e-mail to Groups and you will receive a response with a complete list of Spiritual Parenting Groups. This list will be updated regularly. When you receive the list, find the group nearest you and e-mail the contact person for more information about meeting times and places. You can also head over to the Spiritual Parenting Community where groups are forming and providing joining info.

FORMING A SPIRITUAL PARENTING GROUP

Many parents are gathering in groups around the US and abroad to focus on the 10 Principles outlined in "10 Principles for Spiritual Parenting." If you would like to form your own group, we have created information and collected what has worked well for other groups to help you get started.

To have your Spiritual Parenting Group included in our listing, please send an e-mail with all the pertinent information to: Editor. You can also reach parents directly by posting your group on the Spiritual Parenting Community page.

When Your Group is Full!

If your group becomes full, please let us know by sending an email to Editor. We'll list your group as "closed" until you tell us otherwise.
