Mimi Doe is the author of five books: "Don’t Worry: You’ll Get In!", "Nurturing Your Teenager’s Soul", "Busy but Balanced: Practical and Inspirational Ways to Create a Calmer, Closer Family" and "10 Principles for Spiritual Parenting" which won a coveted Parents' Choice Seal of Approval and was honored as a finalist in the Books for a Better Life Award. She also co-authored "Drawing Angels Near" which was licensed into successful posters by Portal Publications and Doe was a contributing author for "Parent School", "The Experts' Guide to the Baby Years", and "Joyful Birth." Serial rights for Doe's books have appeared in Family Circle, Ladies Home Journal, and Woman's World and her books have been included in the following BookClubs: Crossings, Literary Guild, and One Spirit.
Ladies Home Journal called Mimi a "parenting guru" and she has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from Harvard. Doe is featured weekly on New Morning TV, airing on the Hallmark Channel, and was recently seen on the CBS Early Show. Doe's workshops and seminars cross all cultural and religious lines and have changed the way thousands of parents interact with the children in their lives. She has spoken to groups around the world and in venues as varied as the QE II, Canyon Ranch Spa, The Massachusetts Medical Association, hundreds of schools, parent groups, and associations focused on parenting as well as to groups with an interest in creating more balanced lives. Doe has a pulse on what parents, in particular moms, care deeply about.
Her popular on-line newsletter, "Spiritual Parenting Thought for the Week," has over 50,000 subscribers from around the world and parents have begun Spiritual Parenting Groups to focus on Doe's clear principles. Mimi has an interactive section on Beliefnet.com, the webs largest spiritual website and is a contributor to iVillage's ParentSoup as well as a featured expert on the popular site, ClubMom.
Mimi Doe is the mother of two children, ages 16 and 18 and lives in Concord, Massachusetts. She consults with companies on Messaging to Moms and works with groups that create products and materials to make the lives of families better.
