- March Mood Lifter

- What's New

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

March greetings to you all!

Don’t allow the fear that enfolds our world to seep into your heart.  Forgo the newspaper or the evening news and instead read inspiring books, or watch the incredible talks on www.Ted.com or create simple evenings with your family.

Find a way to keep the joy alive and vibrant in your household even when your savings might be vastly depleted or you worry about your job.  Trust that this is a time rich with opportunity for you and for your family and you are in the right place at the right time. Even when appearance might suggest otherwise, hold to the phrase, ALL IS WELL.  Create a vivid visual image of the life you are moving towards (I love the Dream Manifesting Wizard for helping with that).

Blessings and light from my heart to yours,

Mimi Doe

A Winter Prescription: Enthusiasm and Magic

The winter months, especially if you live in a cold climate as I do, can be a time of low energy, hunkering inside, and maybe a bit of frustration. Are you as tired as I am of rain and snow, of grey clouded skies, of sleeping gardens and empty flower beds?

We tend to stay indoors as the dark days chip away at our energy. What we all need now is a prescription for renewed energy and a new spring-time outlook. Use this season to grow closer as a family, and to add light to all aspects of your life.

Think of the following list as prescriptions to be filled when family spirit is sagging. Write them on index cards and pick one when you need to prescribe yourself a dose of parenting illumination. A little jolt of inspiration and imagination in the midst of your busy life can reignite your passion and send ripples of joy into your family – even on a gray March morning.

- Ask your child to paint a picture of BLISS, then hang it above your kitchen table.

- Go outside after dinner with your kids and adopt a star for your family. Create its birth certificate using today's date.  If it’s a cold night, bundle up and brew up some hot cocoa upon your return indoors.

- Raise your arms, open your mouth, and shout for joy - in the shower, in the car, on the street, in your child's presence. Sure, older kids will be mortified to be seen with you, but I guarantee they'll remember your exuberance.

- Read a funny poem from one of Shel Silverstein's books aloud at breakfast.

- Next Sunday morning play for at least 10 minutes the music that soothes your soul.  Tell your kids why this music shifts your mood and sends you to a more positive place.

- Light 3 purple candles for your child's bath tonight - and use no other lighting.

- Tuck a honey stick in your child's lunch box or backpack tomorrow with a little note that begins: "Honey for my honey because…."

- Buy a bouquet of flowers on the way home from work and sneak them into your child's room.

- Plan a musical. Invite your children's friends over three Sundays from now for an afternoon of music and fun. Find any musical instruments you have, ask the kids to bring their own, and take turns playing for one another. Invite parents to arrive an hour later for a performance.

- Find the nearest miniature or crazy golf course. Leave your work and your worries at home. Load up the kids, their friends, anyone who happens to be within 10 feet of the car, and play a wacky round.  It the miniature golf courses are closed in your town due to weather, head for the nearest bowling alley and dress up in bright wacky clothes.

- Rent an old musical and watch it with your kids this Friday night. Pop some popcorn and sing along.

- Buy a little pot of face glitter and come down to breakfast with it sprinkled on your cheeks. Apply a dab to your child's face, anointing her part of "the glitter family." Tell her you are connected to each other by sparkles as you set out to explore your magical day.

- Tie a ribbon around the kitchen faucet as a gratitude reminder. Each time you see it, pause and allow feelings of deep thanks to wash over you. Give thanks for your beautiful child; the gifts of more power, clarity, and vision today; the gentle wind that blows through the window and the faith that spring is on the way.

Parent's Check-In Questions - Ask Your Child:

- What is beautiful to you?

- What special family traditions do you like?

- What would be a good tradition or celebration to start?

- Where do you see God's magic?

Who are the happiest, richest people you know?... These are the people who are living joyful, enthusiastic lives, regardless of their possessions or lack of possessions. These people possess something more precious than material goods. They possess a spark of God that radiates in all they do.

MARCH MOOD LIFTERS :

1.  Manifesting Change: It Couldn't Be Easier

Mike Dooley can lift most anyone's mood, whether it's with his free daily messages or his great CD set.  I love how he helps us shift to the possible.  I believe that his simple tools can change the way people think.  And, when we change our thoughts we change our lives.

2.  Dream Manifestation Wizard

I'll let the developer of these transformational products tell you about them in his own words as mine don't do justice:

Manifest any goal, desire or life dream with this new award winning audio and software program. A simple and highly efficient process, using the power of your intention combined with images and your own voice, to reprogram your mind for instant and lasting success.

This is an amazing gift of empowerment and will uplift you this month or anytime.  If you have a dream, this will help manifest that dream.  I spend time each week editing my Dream Manifestor images and lists as my dreams come true almost as fast as I can articulate and put them up!!

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO THESE DAYS

Lately I've been listening to Steve Halperns OM Zone on my laptop as I work.  It transports me to ease and calm.  Check out this instrumental CD and I promise you will find a new serenity.  What soothing music do you love?  I need some new songs.

CREATE A YEAR OF DREAMS

Make ALL your dreams come true with the Dream Manifesto!

For YEARS I have been creating vision boards or treasure maps using poster boards and images of what

I would like to manifest in my life...Literally for about 24 years...

Up until now...

Now, since I'm on my computer so much of the time...I've installed this easy to use software, literally I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes, and my images are scheduled to appear with sound...that I've created...every few hours...reminding me of what I wish to focus upon...

It's crazy cool!  In fact, I have had to delete most of the images I first put up as they HAVE COME TRUE.  Time for new dreams!
